Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by Android technology, and can be coded using a variety of Java-based programming.

Guided by adult mentors and coaches, students in grades 6 - 8 develop STEAM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team. 

Teams also design and market their team brand, raise funds, and do community outreach to earn specific awards.
